A crowd needs more than a headcount
For concerts and festivals, share ticketed attendance, expected peak occupancy, event hours and program breaks. Food, drinks and repeated use increase demand. Separate backstage, vendor and public areas may need their own facilities. An informal party ratio should not be treated as a final festival quantity.
Give every restroom cluster a working route
Put toilets where guests can see them without blocking exits or food-vendor operations. Where ADA standards apply, review the accessible-unit calculation at each cluster and preserve usable routes. Spread facilities to fit the actual layout rather than placing every unit in one convenient delivery location. A distant accessible cabin may not serve the same public area effectively.
Service between the peaks
Discuss when pumping and restocking can take place without sending a truck through an occupied crowd. Multi-day events need a plan for overnight access, water replenishment and the next day’s opening. Provide a reachable event contact and a backup. If gates are managed by security, include the service arrangement in their briefing.
